Safe and Sound Security is California’s fastest growing commercial security integrator.
Our team is seeking a talented and motivated Account Executive with experience in the construction industry. Interested candidates will have demonstrated experience working with general and electrical contractors. Candidates will also have the ability to send invitations to bid on medium to large sized construction projects. Our goal is to be the low voltage wiring subcontractor for these general and electrical contractors, while also being their go-to company for commercial security integration. This is a perfect position for someone who has worked in the commercial building construction industry and is looking to get into a client facing sales role.


  • Speak directly with customers to establish needs and drive the overall sales process.
  • Cultivate and close low voltage wiring (structured cabling, network cabling, audio/visual installation etc.) and security projects (video surveillance, access control systems etc.) with construction engineers, project managers and electrical contractors.
  • Conduct customer site visits and estimate both security system installations and service opportunities.
  • Create market awareness for company through networking, cold calling, and presentations.
  • Work strategically to target engineers, project managers, electrical contractors and other decision makers working on new construction projects.
  • Construct and submit professional written proposals and invitations to bid within established deadlines.


  • General understanding of the commercial building construction industry and knowledge of the industry’s operational hierarchy (e.g. subcontractor reports to electrical contractor and EC reports to general contractor).
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills

  • High school education or equivalent
