Four Leased Floors With Different Existing Systems
The State Bar of California needed a security program for four leased floors at its San Francisco building. The existing equipment varied by floor, while the organization regularly changed access levels and managed reception and visitor entry within the same space. The project therefore had to work with the usable door equipment already in place while bringing the four-floor scope into one installation plan.
Reusing Serviceable Door Equipment
Safe and Sound Security planned the access control work around existing door equipment and wiring instead of replacing every opening. Reuse was decided door by door, limiting unnecessary hardware and wiring work while the State Bar settled into its final four-floor footprint.

Verkada Security Across 33 Doors
Safe and Sound Security completed the San Francisco installation in February 2025. The finished Verkada scope covers 33 controlled doors, 11 dome cameras, and a burglar alarm across the four leased floors. The result is one documented security program built around the equipment that could remain in service, rather than a wholesale replacement of the existing doors.
Access Control, Burglar Alarm and Security Cameras Installed Across the Bay Area
Safe and Sound Security installs access control, burglar alarm and security cameras across the Bay Area, including San Jose, Santa Rosa, Concord, Oakland.
