Top Rated Fire Alarm Inspections
Fires cost U.S. businesses more than $328 billion annually. That’s why you have built-in fire protection systems in place to protect your physical office space. But let’s be honest. Sometimes, in the non-stop busy-ness and reacting to all of the other “emergencies” being thrown at you, an inspection gets missed. No big deal; one more day won’t matter. Or will it? Safe and Sound Security is the trusted provider for fire alarm inspections to businesses across California. Our licensed inspectors test and inspect your system in accordance with NFPA code and standards. Semi-annual, annual, five-year, and 10-year fire alarm inspections must be performed by licensed fire protection technicians. The Safe and Sound Security inspection team works with you, performing our inspections as efficiently as possible. We’ve protected over 10,000 locations all over California, and we take great pride in what we do. Call us today for a quote and find out why more businesses trust us with their fire alarm inspections. Don’t leave the safety of your building, and the people in it to chance.
Site Assessment
Once you make the decision to partner with us, we will schedule a site visit to perform an assessment of your building(s). This helps us to understand how long it will take for the inspection, how many technicians to assign, and make us aware of any areas that may require security clearance or specialized access requirements.
Preparation
Next, some minor site preparation is required on your end, mostly as it relates to impact to your business. Typically fire alarm inspections are performed in the morning (before regular business hours) or on the weekends, when there are limited occupants in the building. It’s entirely up to you, but part of the testing includes strobe lights and (very loud) horns.
Inspection
On inspection day, our technicians arrive on site. We notify the monitoring station and local fire department so they know we are testing. The technicians start at the top of the building and work their way down, testing every smoke alarm and pull station. The fire alarm panel’s battery backup is also tested, then finally the fire alarm horns and strobes. Each step is critical in making sure that the fire alarm system works as it should in the event of a fire emergency.
