The Wisenet camera line carries over from the Samsung Techwin era, which is why some buyers still associate it with Samsung.
Is Hanwha CCTV Chinese?
No. Hanwha Vision is a South Korean company, and it manufactures its cameras in South Korea and Vietnam, not China. That country of origin is why Hanwha is a common replacement for Hikvision and Dahua on government-funded projects, where cameras from banned Chinese manufacturers are not allowed.
