OpenEye Web Services (OWS) is OpenEye’s cloud-based video management platform. OWS gives administrators browser-based access to live and recorded footage from any device with an internet connection. The platform handles user access controls, recorder health monitoring, camera management, and event-based alerts. What is the OpenEye Command Station?

Command Station is OpenEye’s downloadable desktop application for Windows. It gives security administrators a local interface to manage the full OpenEye system: live camera feeds, recorded footage playback, user permissions, and system configuration. No web browser required. Command Station is typically used by on-site security staff or administrators who want a dedicated workstation for monitoring. It operates alongside OWS, so the same system is accessible from both the desktop app and the browser-based platform.

What types of OpenEye cameras does Safe and Sound Security install?

Safe and Sound Security installs the full range of OpenEye IP cameras.
